She Who Remains events: Bristol, Norwich and London

This March we welcome Rene Karabash and Izidora Angel, the author and translator of She Who Remains, to the UK. Translated from Bulgarian, the dark and poetic novel explores identity, gender, love, freedom and societal norms set in the Accursed Mountains of Albania and was named one of Service95‘s 21 Must-Read Books To Have On Your Radar in 2026. She Who Remains has been translated into over a dozen languages and has been described by Katrina Dodson as “a dark fairy tale from a time when life was lived closer to the bone.”
