The first of Victor Heringer’s two novels to appear in English, The Love of Singular Men is a tender and complex account of first love and loss, exquisitely translated from Portuguese by James Young. Young will be joined by fellow translator Sophie Lewis for an evening of discussion about Heringer’s work, chaired by writer Toby Litt.
