Since 2012 Peirene Press donates 50p from the sale of each book to the Maya Centre.
The Maya Centre provides free psychodynamic counselling and group psychotherapy for women on low and no incomes in London. The counselling is offered in many different languages, including Arabic, Turkish and Portuguese. The centre also undertakes educational work on women's mental health issues.
By buying our books you help the Maya Centre to contiune their pioneering services.

Counterpoints Arts is a charity that promotes the creative arts by and about refugees and migrants in the UK.
