Type of event

Elegant evenings of literature, conversation, dinner and wine.

@ Peirene Premises, 17 Cheverton Road, London N19 3BB

"A combination of fringe theatre, psychiatrist's couch, conversazione society and flirtation parlour, the Peirene salon is unlike any other literary gathering. It was intellectually stimulating but full of laughter, argumentative but friendly, seriously focussed on the Novel but without forgetting the Wine. And Meike Ziervogel -- gracious, beautiful and just slightly wicked -- is the best salonniere since Madame Geoffrin in 18th century Paris." John Walsh, The Independent

Featuring in 2012:

25th of February: Finnish author Asko Sahlberg in conversation with BBC's Rosie Goldsmith.

16th of June: Danish author Pia Juul

15th of September: Swiss author Richard Weihe

1st of December: British poet Andrew Motion

Time: 7.30pm
